MEET THE FOUNDER & AUTHOR : SHELBY IVEY CHRISTIE, FASHION & COSTUME HISTORIAN
A graduate of the illustrious HBCU NC A&T SU and currently pursuing an MBA at Central Saint Martins in London, Christie explores fashion through the critical lenses of race, class, and culture, amplifying the pivotal Black contributions to the fashion landscape. As a Forbes 30 Under 30 honoree and a Vogue Business 100 Innovators Honoree, Christie boasts a professional fashion career spanning over 12 years, with impactful roles at Vogue, Amazon Fashion, and L'Oreal. Her work, insights and analyses have been featured in renowned publications like Vogue, British Vogue, The Business of Fashion, Business Insider, ESSENCE Magazine, Ebony, Teen Vogue, Good Morning America and more.
